Tidying an opera score in Sibelius

Hey, just a heads-up: this was originally posted on my old website in March 2020. I’m moving all my old blog posts to this fancy new site!

Hello everyone. This blog has been a little empty while I've been getting on with my postgraduate studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, but I'm back with a fun little update. I recently made a short video about the process of tidying up the score to my new opera, The Fulfilment of Ill-Conceived Designs, which you can watch here:

I'm still struggling with talking to camera, but it was the best way to demonstrate some methods of working and I hope to get more practise soon - what with all the social distancing I should have plenty of time to work on more of these types of videos. If you have any ideas for topics I should cover, either on video or as a blog post, do let me know so I have something to do while everything is closed.

Dear readers, please stay safe, take sensible precautions, and follow all official advice over the next few weeks/months.
